About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Sales & Marketing Head to lead business growth across
domestic and international markets. The incumbent will be responsible for revenue generation,
customer acquisition, and global expansion, while also driving marketing, branding, and product
positioning strategies to strengthen our presence in the specialty chemicals and life sciences industry.

About the Company:

Vasudha Chemicals Private Limited, pioneer in Ethoxylation & Hydrogenation, with a successful track record of more than 4 decades. Our in-house laboratory is equipped with all the equipment to ensure all the required tests as per the international pharmacopoeia standards are performed in-house. Every batch of raw material and finished products are quality checked before using for a manufacturing process or supplying to clients. 

Responsibilities:

Procurement Strategy & Planning:

  •   Develop, implement, and monitor the company’s procurement strategy aligned with
    business goals.
  •   Forecast procurement needs based on production planning, sales pipeline, and R&D
    requirements. 
  •  Function as a Line Manager to achieve the company objectives.

Vendor Development & Management:

  •  Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for specialty chemicals, raw materials,
    packaging materials, and indirect purchases. 
  •  Negotiate long-term contracts, pricing, and credit terms while ensuring supply
    reliability. 
  •  Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers. 
  •  Build and maintain vendor onboarding process and system.

Cost Optimization & Compliance:

  •  Drive cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing, bulk negotiations, and
    alternate vendor development. 
  •  Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and statutory
    regulations (REACH, RoHS, ISO, GMP, etc.). 
  •  Monitor market trends, raw material price fluctuations, and supply risks.
Operational Excellence:
  •  Oversee purchase requisitions, RFQs, POs, and supplier payments in coordination with
    finance and operations. 
  •  Collaborate closely with Production, R&D, Quality, and Sales teams for timely material
    availability. 
  •  Implement ERP-driven procurement systems, ensuring accurate records and
    transparent reporting.
Leadership & Team Development:
  •  Lead and mentor the procurement team, driving a culture of accountability and
    continuous improvement. 
  •  Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for supplier performance, cost savings, and
    delivery timelines.
Qualifications & Experience:
 
  •  Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Chemistry, or Supply Chain Management;
    MBA preferred.
  •  12–18 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role in specialty
    chemicals, life sciences, or related industries.
  •  Experience in ethoxylation / speciality chemical
  •  Exposure to pharma and food industry
  •  Strong understanding of global sourcing, vendor management, import/export regulations, and
    logistics.
  •  Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/other).
  •  Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Purchase Head to lead the procurement function for our
specialty chemicals and life sciences business. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and
executing effective sourcing strategies, ensuring cost optimization, building strong vendor
relationships, and securing a reliable supply chain in compliance with global quality and regulatory
standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

  •  Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve ambitious revenue and margin targets. 
  •  Drive domestic and international business growth, managing key accounts, distributors, and global channel partners. 
  •  Explore new geographies and business opportunities across Asia, Europe, Middle East, and Americas. 
  •  Negotiate large-scale contracts with global customers and ensure long-term partnerships.

Marketing, Branding & Product Positioning:

  •  Build and implement a robust marketing and branding strategy to enhance visibility in target
    markets. 
  •  Develop strong product positioning and differentiation strategies aligned with customer needs
    and industry trends. 
  •  Drive brand identity across all customer touchpoints—digital, trade shows, exhibitions, and
    corporate communication. 
  •  Conduct market and competitor research to refine brand narrative and support new product
    launches.
International Business & Market Expansion:
  •  Formulate and execute strategies for export markets including channel development,
    distributor network management, and global alliances. 
  •  Ensure compliance with international business practices, trade regulations, and certifications. 
  •  Represent the company at international trade fairs, industry forums, and customer meetings.
Leadership & Team Development :
  •  Lead, mentor, and energize the sales & marketing team to achieve stretch targets. 
  •  Align team objectives with overall business strategy, ensuring synergy between sales and
    marketing. 
  •  Drive a performance-oriented culture with clear KPIs for domestic and international growth. 
Qualifications & Experience:
 
 
  •  Any Graduate
  •  Preferred – Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, MBA in Marketing
  •  15–20 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in specialty chemicals, life
    sciences, or related industries.
  •  Experience in ethoxylation / speciality chemical
  •  Exposure to pharma and food industry
  •  Demonstrated success in international sales, branding, and product positioning.
  •  Experience in building brands, launching products, and establishing a strong market identity.
  •  Strong knowledge of B2B sales, export procedures, trade compliance, and digital marketing.
  •  Hands-on experience with CRM, and digital branding tools.
